
OMB Bank is pleased to announce that Hunter Cox has returned to the bank as senior vice president and loan officer, serving clients in the Springfield market.
Cox brings nearly a decade of commercial banking experience and a strong track record of helping business owners secure financing solutions that support long-term growth. He previously served at OMB Bank from 2021 to 2025 as vice president, commercial loan officer, where he worked closely with local businesses to structure customized lending strategies and strengthen client relationships across Southwest Missouri.
After gaining additional industry experience, Cox has rejoined OMB’s commercial lending team, where he will continue focusing on relationship-driven banking and tailored credit solutions for businesses throughout the region.
Prior to his initial tenure at OMB, Cox served as assistant vice president, commercial lender at BancorpSouth and held a role in commercial banking at Commerce Bank. Across each position, he has built a reputation for responsive service, thoughtful financial analysis and a practical approach to helping businesses navigate opportunities and challenges.
