OMB is pleased to announce that Brandon Ayers, vice president and director of retail banking, and Amanda Nelson, assistant vice president and retail operations specialist, recently joined its retail banking team.
Ayers has nearly 14 years of banking experience. He began his career as a teller with then-Sun Security Bank before joining Great Southern Bank as part of its Sun Security acquisition. While at Great Southern he served as a personal banker, assistant branch manager, branch manager and was most recently retail banking regional manager. Ayers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, both from Southwest Baptist University. He is also the current board treasurer for the North Springfield Betterment Association.
Nelson has nearly 18 years of industry experience. She began her career as a teller and then personal banker at The Bank before acquisitions by Signature Bank and BancorpSouth. In 2007 she joined Peoples Bank of the Ozarks as a teller and new account representative. In 2012 she joined Oakstar Bank in the same role before promotions to assistant branch manager and branch manager. In 2017 she joined Jack Henry and Associates as an application analyst and was most recently a coordinator III implementations for JHA’s OpenAnywhere online account opening product. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Drury University.
