New Branch Opens in Carthage

OMB’s newly-constructed full-service branch serving the Carthage community officially opened Oct. 10. Located at 535 W. Fir Rd., customers can now perform transactions, open an account and enjoy the added convenience of drive thru and ATM service at the bank’s -new permanent branch location.

The 3,904 sq. ft. branch replaces a modular facility that opened in the fall of 2019 on the same land parcel. The new branch features offices for retail bankers and commercial lenders, dedicated space for commercial lending assistants, a teller transaction line, customer lobby waiting area and employee conference room. Buxton Kubick Dodd designed the branch as architect of the project while Williams Construction Company served as contractor.

“We’ve been very proud to serve families and businesses in Carthage since opening our first loan production office in 2018,” said Mark Harrington, president and chief executive officer. “We think OMB customers are really going to like the new look and added space at our Carthage branch and look forward to elevating the community bank experience they’ve enjoyed the past five years.”

All current OMB employees have moved to the new location including Community Bank President Amanda Fosdick and Branch Manager Misty Warren. Branch hours will remain the same with lobby hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Drive thru hours are 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturdays.
